A closer look at the Parallel World Tactician Starter Deck

The next Starter Decks in the Digimon TCG will be ST-9 Ultimate Ancient Dragon and ST-10 Parallel World Tactician. These starter decks will be nothing like the ones we have seen before, as they cross into dual colour territory. The second of these will be starter deck-10  Parallel World Tactician, focusing on Mastemon, as well as other magical Digimon such as Junomon, Angewomon and Wizardmon.

Cards included in the Deck –

The Another World Tactician Starter Deck will come with 53 cards and two memory gauges, a playmat, and three instruction ‘index’ cards. Unlike the first eight starter decks, there will be no bonus booster packs or promo cards. With that being said, those who pre-ordered the Japanese version on Amazon were also sent a promo version of Mastemon. Will we see a similar pre-order campaign that will allow you to obtain this card?

This deck will focus on the new mechanic ‘DNA Digivolving’ or ‘Jogress’, in the Japanese game, which offers up an alternative way of Digivolving. This way of Digivolving has its own specific requirements, combining two Digimon together, which will be placed unsuspended beneath the Digivolving card.

Both Starter Decks ST-9 Ultimate Ancient Dragon and Parallel World Tactician ST-10 will release within the English version of the game on May 13th in Europe, Oceania and Latin America, while those living in North America will have to wait until May 27th. This will coincide with the release of the New Awakening Booster, the second set of 2022. This set will focus on the Digimon Adventure 02 anime series and will introduce new Keyword Effects and Tamers, as well as the Armor Digivolution and DNA Digivolution forms. Another exciting development this set will bring is dual colour cards, which will offer up more deck combinations. To learn more about this set, you can check out our article here.
