Back in February, the Pokemon Company announced that they would be doing a collaboration between the popular Pokemon GO AR game and the Pokemon TCG. The expansion will include several trainers and card art that pays homage to the mobile game, including Mewtwo as he appears in a raid and the newly added Pikachu wearing a Pokemon TCG hat! The first wave of these products will be available from Friday (July 1st) and includes the brand new Mewtwo vs. Melmetal V Battle Deck.
This set is designed so two players, regardless of experience, can get stuck into a game with two equally matched decks. The extra cards, that are only included in the joint Mewtwo vs. Melmetal V Battle Deck, will be 3 x holo versions of ‘Professor’s Research’, 2 x holo ‘Boss’s Orders’, 2 x ‘Rare Candy’, 2 x ‘Lure Module’ and 2 x ‘Egg Incubator’.
