In a recent social media post, Bandai has announced the players who have qualified to the Dragon Ball Super CG World Championships from each region, as well as the content creators who have been trusted with the task of commentating on all the action!
Following the results from the Final Championship event that ran from November 20th to the 21st, as well as November 27th to the 28th, we finally have the names of the competitors facing off in an attempt to earn this year’s incredible prizes as well as their place in DBS CG history as the world champion.
Those qualifying from each region are, Wang Poh Ann (Asia Champion), Andrew Dovale (North America Champion), Ivan Carillo Garcia (Europe Champion), Jared Lopez (North America Runner-Up), David Lu (Oceania Champion), Jeremy Rossignol (France Champion), Juan Soto (Latin America Champion) and Lorenzo Zanuttigh (Italy Champion).
World Champion Prizes –
The prize pool for this year’s championship are incredible. Not only is there an exclusive playmat showing off some epic artwork of Goku in his Ultra Instinct form, but also a number of stamped cards that include the wildly popular ‘Son Goku & Vegeta, Apex Of Power’. Those who battle their way right to the top will walk away with one of the prestigious metal cards that have made a return for the 2021 World Championship. This time, the cards are Soul Striker and Awakened Power.
