Digimon TCG – Starter Decks 7 & 8 released today

After weeks of magazine previews and teases from Bandai, new Digimon TCG Starter Decks have been released today in Japan. ST-7 and ST-8 are themed around Gallantmon (Also known as Dukemon) and UlforceVeedramon (also known as UlforceVdramon). Because the decks are now out, we have a clearer view of the card art and text ,which gives us a better idea of what to expect when Starter Decks 7 and 8 reach the English version of the game.

Starter Deck Contents –

Each Starter Deck contains the sealed deck, both memory counter cards that are themed on the specific deck, and a double-sided themed play mat with two different designs.

A very nice addition to Starter Decks 7 & 8 are the six special anniversary promo cards, which are essentially the same card in every colour type.  The red one is called ‘Red Memory Boost’, the green one is the ‘Green Memory Boost’, and so on. In play, these new ‘Delay’ cards will sit on the field until you choose to activate them and gain memory.
