The next set in the Digimon TCG, first arriving in the Japanese version before heading over to the English game, will be called ‘New Hero’. This booster set will focus on the Digimon Adventure 02, continuing Bandai’s shift from the original Digimon TCG anime series.
Although the information is incredibly scarce for the time being, a sales sheet for BT-8 has been leaked, showing Veemon and a silhouette of a large Digimon behind him. By the looks of the spiked wings and the spike coming from the knee of the mystery Digimon, there is a good chance it will be Imperialdramon Paladin Mode or mperialdramon Fighter Mode. This would be fitting, as the Holy Knight appears in the Digimon Adventure 02: Revenge of Diaboromon movie.

We also know that a lot of mixed colour cards will be injected into the Digimon TCG, seriously shaking up the game as we know it. We can also speculate that the card will contain around 112 cards, which is the average size of the sets we have had so far.
New Hero will release on November 26th. On the same day, Bandai will release a ‘Special Entry Set’, which will act as a cheaper alternative to Starter Decks for new players to get a taste of the Digimon TCG. These sets will cost 640 yen, which is around $6 USD.
The most recent booster to release in Japan was Next Adventure set on August 27th, while the English version is expected to launch in January 2022. To learn more about this set, click on one of the links below –
