Following the news that the Digimon Great Legend Booster Set has been pushed back to a June 11th release date, Bandai has now softened the disappointment by sharing the cards that will be part of the Great Dash Packs and the Great Legend Power-Up Packs, as well as the Box Toppers. These Special Promo Packs will come as extras when you purchase entire booster boxes or a number of packs in one go.
Box Toppers –
As seen with Special Booster 1.0, one of six Tamer Cards will come as Box Toppers when purchasing an entire booster box of Digimon Great Legend. The three new Tamer characters entering the TCG are all from the Digimon Data Squad series, while the Tai, Izzy and Kari cards are sporting different colours to the ones seen in BT-to BT-3. These promos will have parallel foiling, which appears to have a rainbow effect on the sample art provided by Bandai.
Great Dash Pack –
The Great Dash Pack coming with the new set is named after the Digimon Great Legend booster, just like the 1.0 and 1.5 special packs. This time, however, there are only three cards to collect, which are alternate art versions of GranKuwagamon, BlackWarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. To get a pack, you must purchase 12 booster packs at once or buy two Starter Decks. Those who buy a booster box will receive two of these promo packs.
Great legend Power-Up Pack –
Similar to the ‘Special Box Promotion Pack’ and the ‘Memorial Packs’ people got with Special Booster 1.0 and 1.5, those buying a booster box of Great legend will receive a Great legend Power-Up Pack. These promo cards are from the 1st Anniversary Commemoration Packs of the Japanese release and include Agunimon, Lobomon, Gatomon, Palmon, Sunarizamon and DemiDevimon. These packs will have two cards in each one that will be paired with two specific cards.
We are yet to see the English versions of the Great legend cards, but as the special packs have been revealed, it won’t be long until an entire card list is shared with us. To keep updated on the Digimon: Great legends Booster Set, make sure you follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
