The first EX set, the Classic Collection, was incredibly popular among fans. The reason for the success was down to the artwork that paid homage to classic Digimon card games from the late 90s. While we now have the entire card list of EX 02, Digital Hazard, very little is known about EX 03 Draconic Roar, coming to the English version of the game in November.
The first bit of information leaked about EX 03 Draconic Roar, coming this winter, is the English box art showing Chaosdromon on the front. Going by the name and the name of the booster, it is safe to assume it will be themed around dragon and dinosaur type Digimon. Chaosdromon is a fitting choice to front this booster, as he was introduced into the franchise within the Pendulum virtual pets series with the similarly named ‘Dragon’s Roar’. This Pendulum let Tamers raise their Gigimon and introduced DNA digivolutions to the handheld devices. Does this mean we could see other Digimon in its chain make an appearance, such as Imperialdramon Dragon Mode, Megadramon or Megidramon? Which Dragon Digimon would you want to see included in this themed set?
