Illustration: Global pandemic, a year on…

This week’s Pokemon illustration marks 12 months since the World Health Organisation deemed COVID-19 a global pandemic. In March 2020, people swarmed in hoards across the world buying tins of food and toilet paper in anticipation of what lay ahead. Now in March 2021, the global pandemic continues – toilet paper and tins of soup are readily available but our supermarkets lack Pokemon supply. A year on and nothing has changed…kinda.
