Logan Paul Hints At Another Pokémon Box Break

In October 2020, Logan Paul purchased a First Edition Base Set booster box for $200,000 leading to an incredible spike in the Pokémon TCG market after he opened the box live on a YouTube box break.

Last week that same type of booster box sold for $409,000 at Heritage Auctions. Logan retweeted a news article reporting on the record-breaking sale with the caption “This is insane. The Price more than doubled Since I bought mine last year… gets me so excited for my next booster break”.

This is the first time in months that he has referenced Pokémon and whilst it’s a tweet the possibility of another genre-bending box break that could impact the TCG landscape as a whole is definitely news-worthy.

What could be next for Logan, another First Edition booster box? What about a First Edition Neo Genesis box? Or how about Skyridge, the last ever Wizards of The Coast Pokémon set?

Logan may be teasing us but the impact his success has had on the Pokémon TCG landscape as a whole cannot be underestimated. Could he return to Pokémon after his boxing match with Floyd Mayweather on 20 February 2021?

Like him or not, Logan Paul and Pokémon may still have another chapter yet to write. His interest in the hobby has had a huge impact and there could still be more to come.
