New Pokémon Snap for Nintendo Switch has been given an official release date of 30 April 2021
The Pokémon Company have announced that the new game will take place in a brand new region called Lental as well as a new Illumina phenomenon where these particular Pokémon glow akin to shinies.
Could this new release lead to another Pokémon Snap competition? The infamous cards that PSA refused to grade a selection of for multiple years.
The Squirtle, Charmander, and Articuno have 20 copies of each variant in existence and PSA had no ability to prove their legitimacy for many years. You can find out more info about the history of PSA and Pokémon SNAP cards here.

If Pokémon were to host another Snap competition it could lead to some incredibly expensive and sought-after cards to add to the initial 10.
Pokémon Snap originally released in March 1999 for Nintendo 64. The game has a special place in Pokémon fans’ hearts due to the uniqueness of the gameplay and how special seeing Pokémon in their 3D natural habitat felt 22 years ago.
New Pokémon Snap was originally announced last year for Pokémon’s 25th Anniversary which launched its website and a partnership with Katy Perry yesterday.
Will there be a TCG tie in to the new game and more Pokémon Snap cards coming this year?
