New Scarlet and Violet “Pokemon Presents” releases tomorrow  – What we know so far

Those keen on learning more about the upcoming Pokemon games, Scarlet and Violet, will want to set a reminder for tomorrow’s (August 3rd) “Pokemon Presents”, which will air on the official Pokemon YouTube channel at 09:00 EDT,  06:00 PDT, and 14:00 BST. This will be the third “Pokemon Presents” on the upcoming titles, which previously revealed the new starters, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly as well as the legendary Pokemon, Koraidon and Miraidon.

Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will change up the video game format, with these titles being the first open-world RPGs in the main series. This means players will be able to explore the vast new region along with up to four friends to take part in several activities. It is likely that explore aspects of last year’s Pokemon Legends: Arceus will also be included.

In previous games, we have been used to getting one professor to collect Pokemon for, but for these new titles, there are two new experts to work with, depending on the title you play. These are Professor Sada in Scarlet and Professor Turo in Violet. Players will also make a friend in Nemona, a Trainer who will befriend the player and become a guide in this brand new region. Not many of the new Pokemon have been revealed for the upcoming gen, with the only ones revealed so far being Pawmi, Lechonk and Smoliv.

Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will release on November 18th worldwide, arriving just in time for the holidays! With just three months before the game releases, it is unusual to not know more, especially the region we will be adventuring in, the unique gimmick of the game and the open world features. Hopefully, the latest  “Pokemon Presents” will shed more light on these details. It is likely that the Pokemon Company are holding back so that they can reveal them at the Pokemon World Championships.
