Pokémon Launches 25th Anniversary Website

Pokémon 25 Website Launch

The Pokémon Company has launched the 25th Anniversary celebration website for the franchise’s birthday in February.

Advertising “Every Party Needs A Playlist!”, the website confirms a partnership with multiple big music stars including Katy Perry.

The trailer officially reveals the Shiny VMAX Charizard from Shiny Star V in English, presumably in Shining Fates.

In preparation for the events, the Pokémon 25th anniversary website announces a monthly celebration of the different regions in the Pokéverse kicking off with the Galar region in March. We had previously discussed potential anniversary releases and the upcoming Shining Fates set.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary a line of jumbo Pokémon cards representing the starters through the years will release in March in “First Partner Pack” booster packs for $9.99 and include 2 regular TCG booster packs. There will also be a jumbo binder to store these cards and showcase the collection. This is an interesting and very exciting start to this years’ festivities.
