A stunning faux leather bound Collector Box is heading to the Pokemon Card Game, which has been made to a seriously premium quality and comes with a Pikachu promo sporting some stunning artwork that features everybody’s favourite mascot accompanied by an array of powerful Pokemon joining him in battle.
The Sword & Shield Precious Collector Box will come with a thick card display frame, a large album with side loading card sleeve pages, five dividers to help organise the cards in the Collector Box and the Pikachu (323/S-P) holo promo. The faux leather on the box and all of the other accessories have been embossed with Pokemon that left their mark during this generation of competitive play. This also goes for the Pikachu promo, with the Pokemon Company posting – ‘Pikachu is surrounded by brave Pokémon, evoking the many battles that have and will take place!’
Preorders for the Sword & Shield Precious Collector Box will begin in May on the Japan Pokemon Center website and will cost 17,600 yen, which is equivalent to around $134. This collector box will release in November, which could mean it will release alongside Vstar Universe, a name that was trademarked last month and is believed to be the final booster in the Sword and Shield series before they move into Gen 9. This would arrive just in time for the release of the next main games in the series, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, releasing on November 22nd this year.
