Shining Fates UK Distribution Allocation Minimal At Launch

Shining Fates Charizard

Shining Fates launch day stock numbers for a large UK distributor have been revealed.

Asmodee, One of the UK’s biggest distributors for Pokémon TCG have announced that they will be receiving 5% of their total stock on order for 19 February 2021, Shining Fates’ official launch date.

The remainder of the stock will arrive in waves. Given the current issues around international shipping due to COVID-19 and Brexit there are no updates as to when the next batch of stock will arrive in the UK.

The set which will provide an English printed version of Shiny Star V will include Shiny Charizard Vmax and is a successor to Hidden Fates.

So what does this mean for your local game stores and online shopfronts? The overall orders placed to Asmodee for Shining Fates stock will be delivered over an extended period of time with stock allocation numbers being significantly lower than expected. This means preorders may be delayed even if you purchased quickly after the set was announced
